Vicky Hayward is a freelance writer, journalist and book editor whose articles and essays about the arts, food, travel and social issues are published internationally.
A Cambridge history graduate, she lived and worked in Vanuatu and London before moving to Madrid in 1990. Her book, New Art of Cookery: A Spanish Friar's Kitchen Notebook (Rowman & Littlefield), won the Jane Grigson Trust Award 2017 and was published in Spain, entitled Nuevo arte de la cocina española (Editorial Ariel), in October 2017.
She is represented by Charlotte Seymour of Andrew Nurnberg Associates.
